Samarth Specialist Teams

Each Module will have its own specialised team to overlook implementation in Universities/HEIs in Project Samarth. The structure of team will be as follows:

  1. Module Coordinator
  2. Module Specialist
  3. Module Assistant
  4. Module Owner

Implementation Steps

Key steps in implementation to be followed:

  1. Coordinate with the University Batch coordinator will coordinate the University and get the module implemented. There can be two cases to intiate implementation:-
    1. On University's request: Samarth Team can start implementation of a specific module based on University's request.
    2. Fortnightly calls to the university: Batch coordinator has to do fortnightly calls the University, understand the progress and challenges in implementation. In case, the University has difficulity implementing a certain module, team can schedule workshop to start implementation.
  2. Module Workshop Workshops will be conducted for the University where the team will assist them in:
    1. Settings Configuration: Team has to assist the University in configuring the settings.University specific configuration document has to be made and shared with the university. The configuration document should be signed by the University to confirm the configurations.
    2. Data Upload: Specialist team has to collaborate with the data team where the data team has to analyse the data, identify the gaps and communicate to the University.
    3. Train the staff
    4. Workshop Summary will be shared with the University after each workshop along with the configuration document.\
  3. Acceptance Form Acceptance form has to be shared with the University as a sign off.

Note: The Universities will not have specific rollouts, instead they will have batch coordinators who will connect the Universities with specialist teams based on their requests.

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Module Coordinator

    1. Coordinate with the Universities to get the module initiated.
    2. Prepare monthly usage report.
    3. Assist Module Assistants in preparing configuration documents.
    4. Maintain Module Acceptance forms.
    5. Follow up with the Change Management Team for status of changes submitted by the University.
  2. Module Specialists

    1. Understand the module thoroughly.
    2. Train users on the specific module.
    3. Build user stories and use cases to discuss with the module owners.
    4. Assist the Universities in configuring the settings and making the modules ready to use.
  3. Module Assistants

    1. Assist the specialist in module implementation in the University.
    2. Prepare configuration documents and collaborate with content team to get "how to videos" prepared.
    3. Document meeting minutes and video repository of all the module specific meetings.
    4. Assist the Universities in getting data uploaded.
  4. Module Owner

    1. Develope the module based on UGC policies and guidelines in collaboration with the research team.
    2. Resolve bugs/errors as they come within the stipulated time frame.
    3. Analysing the change requests (suggested: talk to the University to understand the requested change) and categorize it into Must Have, Should have, Could Have and Won't have.
    4. Participating in the Change Meetings to get the changes approved.
    5. Updating the document on Samarth Knowledge Base.
